A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in CJ Tsai's laboratory at the University of Georgia to work on Populus genome editing. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong background and experience in molecular genetics and synthetic biology, evidenced by relevant peer-reviewed publications. Applicants should have a PhD in plant molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry or related fields, with hands-on experience in genome editing and metabolic engineering. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate among project team members and external collaborators are necessary.
