As a Quality Technician, you will perform layout inspection for pre and post customer approval, using a CMM and other various metrology equipment. Additional responsibilities include ensuring our products meet the required quality standards, collaboratively seeking out root cause of quality concerns, training/re-training employees to the quality standard, and Quality Management System support.

Support achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis review.
Provide quality systems training, assisting employees with quality questions and measurement techniques.
Participate in new product introduction and assist with the development of measurement/inspection plans, including as applicable CP, FMEA’s.
Interface with Operations and Engineering to support production hand-shake, sample phase to production.
Assist 8D Champions and team members by analyzing product failures, root cause evaluation, recommending corrective and preventive action, for process improvement.
Prepare quality documentation reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends for failed processes, stability studies and corrective, preventative actions.
Control and document non-conforming material.
Coordinate, perform and document calibrations to schedule.
Other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager and/or Plant Manager.
Basic comprehension of CMM programming/operation and tool calibration.
Knowledge of gage calibration systems and gage calibrations.
Adept in reading and interpreting blueprints, math data, reports, instructions and guidelines.
Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Proficient MS Office computer skills, specifically Excel.
General knowledge of injection molding process and material science.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
ASQ Certified Quality Technician preferred.
