Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team. Responsibilities include analyzing watersheds and stream hydraulics; performing flood mapping and dam failure analyses; and designing water resources and other civil engineering projects. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field AND at least four years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: HEC-RAS software (including two-dimensional modeling); dam failure inundation modeling and mapping; ESRI GIS products for data editing and geoprocessing workflows; experience with floodplain modeling/mapping including experience with FEMA; experience with SWMM modeling software (preferably XPSWMM); analyzing watersheds, watershed hydrology and stream hydraulics; HEC-HMS software; experience with bridge/culvert H&H analysis and modeling; design for water resources and other civil engineering projects; client contact. A valid EIT certification and PE license is a plus.
