Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science; business or public policy administration; environmental or civil engineering; or closely related field; AND
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, organization and direction of an integrated waste operation or activity, of which at least three (3) years must have been in a management or supervisory capacity.
Possession of a valid license of registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists is desired for this position, but NOT required.
License: Positions in this class require incumbents to possess and maintain a valid California driver's license, Class C or higher, to carry out job related duties. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical or mental disability may request a reasonable accommodation.
