Job Description

The Operations Training Specialist will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. They will be responsible for developing and delivering learning solutions for the assigned client group(s) within operations, and providing on-going coaching and feedback to ensure associates have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned client groups including administration/facilitation of on the job and blending learning, monitor training effectiveness, assist with onboarding of new hires and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Evaluates training to ensure effectiveness and that associates have the necessary skills to perform job duties.
• Maintains business relationships with management liaisons to ensure feedback on process and results of the training are incorporated into the ongoing curriculum.
• Conducts classroom and On-the-Job Training for operators and technicians when the need arises.
• Ensures all operators are trained and certified based on process requirement in a timely manner.
• Monitors and follows-up certification and re-certification activities.
• Ensures training system and standard compliance at all time.
• Participates and performs process/system related training.
• Prepares training packages as and when required by the respective projects.
• Tracks and reports information by reviewing employee training records for current licenses, certificates, and renewals, maintaining records of mandatory training, maintaining up to date training files on all safety sensitive personnel, checking all files for up to date medical, and advising employees as needed for training purposes.
• Management administration of the Learn Management System (ISOtrain) including building/managing of course content, assignment of required training to employees, metric tracking and reporting, creating iKAT assessments, maintenance of employee profiles, monitoring for effectiveness and working with vendor to recommend system enhancements.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in field
• Experience with Learning Management Systems
• Course development and delivery background
• New hire/onboarding program implementation experience

• ISOtrain experience or knowledge a plus
• Experience with medical or non-medical ISO regulations
