RTI International is looking for a Quality Management Systems Engineer. You will be providing support to multiple areas of RTI.
Your job duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
Manage and provide QA support for projects in multiple areas of RTI.
Independently plan and perform inspections and audits areas as needed to support the quality assurance of business initiatives.
Prioritize work for self and staff, if applicable to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
Independently analyze complex situations, make effective decisions and implement corrective action or continuous improvement solutions.
Serve as expert for quality management systems implementation of ISO certification.
Serve as expert support for drugs, devices, in vitro diagnostics, and GxP Quality Management Systems.
Manage the corporate QMS change control and equipment/systems validation processes.
Write/Review QA and internal client SOPs, quality manuals, quality management plans, etc.
Plan and implement QA infrastructure ‘system’ audit/inspection programs and prepare reports (e.g., reports to management and metric reports).
Work to obtain consistency in inspection practices among QA staff; conducts ‘for cause’ QA inspection activities.
Work with management to establish QMS priorities and timelines for multiple program work areas.
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ related experience in Quality Management; Master’s degree and 3 years’ related experience in Quality Management; PhD and 0 years’ related experience
Directly related experience with Quality Management
Experience writing and creating SOP’s.
Experience with ISO and QMS
Skills and Abilities
Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contracts.
