The Operations Manager will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL The Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources, and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
Report to leadership team in weekly operations reviews.
Coach and mentor Operations leadership.
Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Requires a minimum of 7 years of operations experience, including supervision.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.
