This position will be responsible for executing colormatches and additive packages for multiple applications in various resins. This position will work closely with the sales staff and our customers to create formulations that meet customer specifications and cost parameters. This position will utilize a strong knowledge and experience of resins, coloring systems and processes to evaluate new pigments, and to mentor and train fellow lab employees in colormatching various resin systems.
This position will normally work day shift, Monday-Friday, with approximately 20% travel required.
Minimum 5+ years experience in colormatching, with a minimum of 3 of those years focused on colormatching for engineering and olefin resins
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience formulating for multiple applications, but not limited to film, injection molding, sheet extrusion and thermoforming
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly
Excellent color vision and discretion
Knowledgeable of the ISO Quality System
Certification in color matching desired
