NMPP Energy, located in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Utility Asset O&M Specialist to join our dynamic team. Use your skills, experience and talents to manage the testing of member generation units, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, develop an asset management program, and assist with delivery of other utility services.
The Utility Asset O&M Specialist supports the mission of NMPP Energy by performing the following duties:
Lead efforts to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance of participant generation units. Coordinate with members and regulatory agencies to gather applicable information, complete and submit reports; evaluate the impact of proposed regulations.
Conduct generation capacity testing at participant power plants, coordinate with field personnel, perform environmental performance monitoring, submit required data to regional utility organizations, and coordinate resolution to unit generation issues.
Assist with developing member services including an asset management program for communities.
Assist with performance of energy efficiency audits and coordination of utility mutual aid efforts.
Participate in regional working groups and committees related to capacity and resource planning
