The Department of Water & Power, Customer Relations Division is pleased to recruit for the position of Account Manager for Key Accounts. Key Accounts represent a significant volume of business and require attention, effort, time and resources to grow and retain. It is essential that the Key Account Manager be able to foster lasting relationships with the city's largest energy and water users (Key Accounts) in order to identify opportunities to enhance their operations to be more energy and water efficient, as well as serve as the primary point of contact for billing and outage issues and program inquiries. The Key Account Manager must become familiar with the city's utility billing system, utilize knowledge of the facility operations to identify facility and billing impacts, such as power factor, ratchet demand and reliability to the distribution system. This position is expected to monitor utility trends and identify customer needs to recommend program enhancements and new service offerings that facilitate electrification of transportation and other energy-intensive equipment.
