Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing CRPUD’s mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers. This position directly supervises a team of highly qualified and skilled employees responsible for the Engineering Department of the utility. This position will provide project management support and assistance for the operation, maintenance, and construction of transmission, substation, and distribution system improvement projects; develop, maintain, upgrade, and operate a secure SCADA system; and develop and maintain a reliability-based predictive and preventative maintenance program for transmission, substation, and distribution equipment, including procedures and maintenance schedules.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or five years’ experience with demonstrated advanced Engineering knowledge in the electric utility field.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and the ability to operate various engineering software applications, including distribution analysis software, fuse coordination software, work order system, underground cable pulling tension, and conductor sag calculations.
Valid driver’s license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of responsibilities associated with driving on behalf of CRPUD.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with five years’ experience in the electric utility field.
