The inside sales manager oversees the inside sales specialists to ensure the close of contracts for partner programs, at defined monthly sales goals, and ensure partner and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, this person will be responsible for managing inventory levels, determining min/max stocking and managing warehouse operations.
Manage employees of inside sales department and shipping and receiving to create and deliver qualified new and existing customer revenue results.
Collaborate with Outside Sales Manager and Territory Sales Reps to determine best sales approach to existing and new customers
Achieve Inside Sales department monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue goals
Create and implement new, or improved, lead generation processes and programs, including accounts management system for data capture of new and existing customer information.
Identify decision makers within targeted leads to implement effective sales strategy, approach and process to generate new sales revenue.
Ensure follow-up of new customer leads to Territory Sales Reps with calls-to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on.
Implement, maintain and expand the company’s database of prospective customers and qualified leads
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email to cross-sell and up-sell.
Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert to new customer revenue
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
Travel up to 5% of the time
Using company ERP system, determine and implement appropriate stocking levels to ensure stock rotation.
Manage warehouse operations including shipping/receiving employee(s).
Oversee resources planning and reporting
Observe safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
Perform other assigned duties, functions and/or tasks as assigned and/or on an as-needed basis.
