Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. The typical candidate will have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and will possess five (5) years of management and/or administrative experience in public works and/or engineering in a municipal setting, including three (3) years of experience in overseeing the development of capital improvement and land development projects. Candidates must also possess and maintain a Registered Professional Civil Engineer license in the State of California.
