Manages the daily operations of the city's wastewater treatment plant and collections systems. Performs checks, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping for the plant. Safely removes bio-solids as regulated by the DNR and the EPA. Incumbents in this role must participate in an on-call rotation and be available to assist in after-hours emergencies, both requiring a response time of 30 minutes or less and respond to snow removal operations on a 24-hour call basis as required.

Minimum of one year of experience with wastewater treatment or collection systems required.
Valid Class B CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsements within 120 days of employment required. A valid driver's license is required upon hire.
Certification Wastewater DNR Operator Class C within 120 days of employment required.
Wastewater Collections C License (MWEA) desired.
Chemical Spill Response Certification within 120 days of employment required; must refresh at least every three years.
