Product Stewardship Manager

Job Summary 

Provide hazard communications compliance for new and existing products manufactured at, imported to, or exported from all Valtris sites in US.  Facilitate product hazard communications by generating and publishing legally compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and packaging regulatory labels in compliance with Global Harmonized Standards. Lead product characterization software database (currently 3E) implementation and maintenance, with IT support, to ensure legal compliance.  Characterize new product hazards and complete product registration in all global sales regions, with Technical support.  Provide customer responses to product inquiries and compliance questions including registration such as REACH or other specialized regulations.  Review all product shipping classifications for compliance with transportation and packaging standards.

Essential Responsibilities 

• Manage the Product Regulatory software database and issue all product SDS
• Work with internal customers to set priorities and to communicate regulatory requirements.
• Author SDSs and labels in the 3E system, which supports all Valtris sites in US.
• Coordinate support from Corporate IT and 3E for product compliance software.
• Develop process and verification procedures and training materials as needed, for GHS in companywide
• Ensure Product shipping classification and packaging compliance
• Support the Corporate EHS&S team activities with plant, Technical and IT support
• Complete product registration, globally with Technical and external resource collaboration.
• Participate in pharmaceutical excipient manufacturing compliance protocols
• Support implementation and maintenance of the Valtris ISO 9001 and RCMS management systems
• Conformance with the Valtris Quality and Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and awareness of ISO 9001 and RCMS management system requirements applicable to this position
