Wastewater Operations Maintenance Technician

As a Lakehaven Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician, you will be part of a team that has been recognized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for its environmental stewardship. Our two treatment plants serve a mid-sized metropolitan area of approximately 120,000 people. Technicians apply their analytical, math and technical skills to help ensure treated wastewater adheres to EPA standards and safeguards the local ecological system of Puget Sound. Our Wastewater Technicians perform a variety of tasks at a skilled level in the operation and maintenance of our 10.0 MGD and 5.6 MGD wastewater treatment facilities. Some of the core job responsibilities include performing and/or assisting with minor and major maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment and construction of supporting structures used in the wastewater treatment plants operated by the District. Position placement and pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
