The ISOM Department is recruiting to hire one full-time tenure eligible Assistant Professor for the 2022-2023 academic year. Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service. Duties include conducting high-quality scholarly research in information systems leading to publication in top academic journals, and effectively teaching courses at all levels.
Applicants must have or be nearing completion of a PhD or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field by the date of appointment. A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD with conversion to appointment as an Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
