Job Technical Skills – Responsible for overseeing staff supporting project management and master scheduling for the division including transmission, distribution and substation facilities for both internally and externally resourced projects. Specific responsibilities include long term capacity planning, short term schedule development, divisional contract administration, material coordination, construction management, project inspections and project execution by utilizing available resources effectively monitor overall project completion through the IPSEC project cycle, present divisional project and work schedule KPI’s, and use analytics to collect and benchmark project productivity data relative to work performed. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. Please note, LES is interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. - Supervises department staff to include prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, monitoring employee performance, ensuring staff members are trained and cross trained, resolving conflicts, and making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations. Provides oversight for large, complex projects for area of assignment including planning, scheduling, and successfully executing all phases of IPSEC model for division projects; developing fully integrated system schedules for simple to complex projects utilizing critical path methodology based on work scope from the work packages
- Develops external contracts and monitors contractor progress and performance to ensure goods and services conform to contract requirements to ensure compliance with project scope and budgets.
- Develop and actively advocates work, inventory, project, and portfolio management best practices, IPSEC model and tools for project execution including applications such as SAP, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.
- Represents LES with public, customers and media with items related to the project, which may include mass media interactions as dictated by project need.
- Completes technical studies and reports related to designated projects, material/equipment inventory, or programs.
- Participates in the bid award process and review of external contractors.
- Participates in development of the capital and operational budgets for area of assignment, including monitoring and explaining variances, approving, and reviewing expenditures, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business, and
- Six years of progressively responsible experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
