Yonkers Contracting has an opportunity for a Civil Construction Quality Control Manager with a minimum of ten years of experience for CONNDOT project.

This exempt,  40- hour full-time position is responsible for developing and documenting a Quality Management Plan  to ensure work performance, products and services are in conformance with the project owner,  project schedule, budget, contract specifications, and is designed to avoid disputes

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Complete and thorough knowledge of plans, specifications, project contract and each subcontract, for all assigned projects
• Develop quality control plan to; reporting, methods to measure, track quality of materials, and address any deviations
• Responsible for tracking all QA/QC documents for the entire project(s)
• Develop and document procedures to address non-conformance with quality standards
• Responsible for ensuring the project team, subcontractors and suppliers are familiar with the quality standards and ensure compliance with all procedures
• Verify and document materials received are in conformance with approved submittals

Essential Qualifications and Experience includes, but is not limited to:

• BS. in Civil Engineering
• Must be certified by NETTCP
• Must submit 2 letters of recommendation
• Minimum 5+ years of Civil Construction experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Field inspection experience
• Read and understand construction drawings  
• Must have excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards
• Strong focus on quality
• Valid driver’s license
• Identification to demonstrate the right to work in the US
• Must be fully vaccinated
