Responsible for set-up tests and problem resolution for equipment or fixtures
Train, document and certify electronics personnel in testing and safety training
Determine test equipment needs for new product test requirements
Develop new test methods and equipment to reduce testing times and increase accuracy
Write, edit and update test programs used to control automated test systems
Assist Test Engineer with the design, build and maintenance of test fixtures
Write instructions for proper inspections for electrical and mechanical requirements
Responsible for conducting military and/or aerospace quality testing and reporting for customer approval. This includes review of drawings, purchase orders for quality codes
Associates Degree in Electronics
Math and algebraic skills to solve math problems
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with people from different backgrounds
Must be a self starter with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to use electronic test equipment such as LCS meters, network analyzers, Hipot testers and multifunctional meters
Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job, including ability to move to and between work stations, hand-eye coordination, ability to grasp and hold tools with either hand, 20/20 vision with correction, ability to discern basic colors, ability to move 40 lbs
Must be willing to learn electronic concepts and technical information - stay current in field
