Additional Financial Considerations The Board will consider a $10,000 salary increase for each of the first three years of employment. They will also consider offering a moving allowance of up to $5,000 for the new County Engineer to relocate to Roseau County.

General Duties The County Engineer directs the activities of the County Highway Department including personnel, budgets, state aid, and federal requirements. The Engineer performs administrative and professional engineering work to include long range planning, implementing, and evaluating all programs and projects related to the expansion, improvement, and maintenance activities on the County highway system.
Minimum Qualifications This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, and five or more years directly related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Professional Minnesota License within six months of employment is required.
