University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), is located at Chengdu, China, a charming city famous for its history, culture, landscapes, cuisine and panda.

UESTC is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. In 2017, UESTC was included in Category A of the World-Class-University project launched by MOE of China. The last sixty years has witnessed UESTC’s development into a key multidisciplinary university covering Electronic Science and Technology as its nucleus, Engineering as its major field, and other disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Management, Economics, Liberal arts and Medical Science.

School of Management and Economics

The School of Management and Economics (SME) of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) invites outstanding candidates to fill our full-time Chair Professor positions, and young scholars are encouraged to apply for the program of National Natural Science Foundation of China (Distinguished Young Scholars from Overseas program).

Successful candidates applying for Chair Professor should have proven record of distinguished accomplishments in areas of Management, Business, Economics, including top journal publications, active participation in academic affairs, strong leadership capabilities, with balance and excellence in teaching and research.

Successful candidates applying for Distinguished Young Scholars from Overseas program should have a Ph. D and evidence of promising research in the following fields: Accounting, Marketing, Organization, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, E-Commerce, Information Management, Big Data, Management Science, Economics, etc.

Compensation package is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits, such as initial funding and housing subsidy, will also be provided.

• Full time employment in China
