The City of Geneva Electric Utility, a division of the City of Geneva Public Works Department, is seeking a qualified journeyman lineman to perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of the City’s electric (12-34kV) utility system.To qualify, applicants must have obtained a journey-level certification from a recognized apprenticeship program. Primary job responsibilities include the construction and maintenance of City overhead and underground distribution systems, fiber optic splicing, operation and maintenance of substation and generation equipment, and rotating on-call responsibilities.
