Job Duties: Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with cross functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers. Anticipate software engineering issues and develop and implement solutions accordingly. Manage standups as the ScrumMaster for no more than two engineering teams. Partner with PO to align with objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risk. Assign areas of ownership and ensure teams have clear priorities and adequate resources. Participate in architecture discussions and planning. Participate in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams. Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members. Advocate for technical excellence and promote best engineering practices to help engineering teams make sound technical decisions. Maintain and foster the Salesforce culture by interviewing and hiring qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field) or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering or three (3) years of experience in the job offered or Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field software engineering or five (5) years in the job offered. Training will not be provided to applicants. Special Skills: (1) Java; (2) SQL; (3) Selenium; (4) JUnit; (5) Object Oriented Programming; (6) Databases; and (7) TestNG. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $185,099.00 - $201,700.00 per year. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
