Riviera Utilities is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, he/she will be responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the utility, ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of essential services to our community. They will lead a dedicated team, manage financial resources, foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and drive innovation to enhance the utility's sustainability and adaptability in an ever-evolving energy landscape.

Riviera Utilities is a public corporation formed under the Code of Alabama Act No.175, Article 9 and provides electric, gas, water, wastewater, broadband, and appliance services to approximately 70,000 customers. The company operates from two offices, one in Daphne and one in Foley, Alabama. Riviera’s operating revenue is in excess of $195 million.

Qualified candidates will have proven leadership experience working within the utility or municipal sector. He/she will be a strategic and commercially driven leader with demonstrated P&L experience as a senior level executive within a similarly sized or larger electric, water, and/or gas utility, municipal operation or private business aligned with the utility industry. This experience should include successfully leading a utility/company/sizable business unit through a track record of sustained operational performance.
