The Munich School for Data Science (MUDS) is a joint initiative of Helmholtz Munich, Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI), and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) with the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Leibniz Supercomputing Center (LRZ), and an increasing number of industrial partners. MUDS is offering PhD positions for students with a background in data science, computer science, computational science, or a domain science with a strong focus on computational science, and an interest in training at the interface of data science and the scientific domains pursued at the three participating Helmholtz centers.
