The City of Casper is seeking an experienced, visionary Public Services Director to guide and advance one of the City’s most impactful departments. This executive-level leader will direct a diverse portfolio of essential public services—including Engineering, Fleet Maintenance, Streets, Traffic, Solid Waste, Wastewater Treatment and Collection, Water Treatment and Distribution, and Stormwater Management. Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Public Services Director plays a crucial role in shaping Casper’s infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality services that support residents, businesses, and the region’s long-term growth.

Education & Experience

• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in public services, public works, engineering, or related fields.
• Three (3) years of formal management and supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Licensing & Certifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
