The University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking candidates for Chair of the Department of Genome Sciences. The Chair will guide the mission and vision of the department. The goal of the department is to address leading edge questions in biology and medicine by developing and applying genetic, genomic, proteomic, and computational approaches that take advantage of genomic information now available for humans, model organisms and a host of other species. The position is full-time and tenured with appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor commensurate with experience. The anticipated start date is October 1, 2023. This position has an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]
