INTRODUCTION Prince William County Public Works, Solid Waste Division is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Environmental Program Manager. This position will manage the Division’s federal, state, and local environmental compliance efforts and will oversee a team of employees responsible for performing specialized environmental monitoring, engineering, and construction project management at the County’s municipal solid waste landfill and yard waste composting facility. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in the natural or physical sciences; environmental or civil engineering; or environmental policy, law, or planning with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience related to environmental compliance programs.
