Process Engineering Manager – Rail Manufacturing

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team, guiding projects in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and new product scale-up
• Improve equipment performance (feeders, extruders, downstream systems) to boost uptime and reduce scrap
• Oversee tooling development, design, and repairs while partnering with external suppliers
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and make decisions that improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new technologies and processes
• Ensure safe, compliant, and innovative manufacturing practices

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Polymer, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (MBA a plus)
• 7+ years in process engineering, including 3+ years in management or project management
• Experience in polymer manufacturing (extrusion, molding, die design preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven success improving production systems
• Leadership skills with a passion for continuous improvement and team growth
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
